Gold fiery dragon sword = inscripable

is a purple one much less valuable? same skin, same max, inscribable, q10? that doesn't make sense but i'm curious.
trying to sell mine (with crappy mods (which can be replaced, of course)), and i'm getting indignation at asking more than 1k. can someone explain what's up? is this thing worthless as a purple? EDITED by Yang_Whirlwind for the following guideline violation(s):
